The Casino Air Molecular Oxidizer utilizes the corona discharge process to create ozone from atmospheric oxygen. The ozone is injected into the HVAC system and circulated through the supply air ductwork and grilles.Ozone instantly oxidizes and totally eliminates tobacco odors in the ventilated space and, over time, oxidizes and eliminates the embedded odors which accumulate in the finish surfaces of all commercial businesses which cater to a smoking clientele.Through oxidation, ozone also greatly reduces other offensive gases and eye-burning volatile organic compounds found in environmental tobacco smoke, as well as most of the chemicals found in all commercial buildings even where smoking isn’t permitted.Every Casino Air Molecular Oxidizer is equipped with an integrated ozone sensor microprocesser and corded probe to ensure levels of ozone required for odor elimination are produced, but the ozone level in the occupied space never exceeds the most stringent exposure level restriction (the Food and Drug Administration’s 50 parts per billion continuous exposure standard). Ozone levels in the breathing space are generally far below the FDA standard, and almost always lower than the ambient atmospheric ozone levels outside.
